Christmas is coming !
There was a big smile on this boy's face when he stepped outside at 7:35 this morning.
I looked around and saw a thin layer of white on the cars as The Kinks played Lola on my iPod. My 20 minute walk to work was really nice this morning, the highlights being Lola and Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene 4.
It snowed last night and kept snowing a little bit today.
I've been fighting off the christmas feeling that comes when the shops start decorating and you hear christmas songs in the shopping centres. I feel that if I start too early it just won't last till Christmas.
Our home is allowed to start preparing for christmas and play christmas songs on the first weekend of the advent.
That's this weekend and, obviously controlled by higher powers, OUR STUFF ARRIVED LAST NIGHT.
Ahh yes, that means all our music, clothes, pots and pans and COMPUTERS (PC and PS2) are finally with us again. I believe the most anticipated things are the PC, Christmas decorations and pots and pans, in that order.
Talking about Christmas, this small family will be having their first "proper" Christmas since 2002 this year. Yes, we'll be in Iceland from the 21 to the 28 of December.
Christmas dinner will be made and served in the home of the best cook in the world.
