Well Well,

Once again the hour is late and what do I find my self doing but... WORKING!

All work and no play makes Daniel go...... something something

I'm doing an upgrade at the Sheraton hotel in Charles De Gaulle airport, Paris.
It's 2:30 AM (as in late-night) and I guess I'll not be leaving here until 9-10.

Anyways, had a nice week-end. Bought some computer stuff. YESSS.

That's just like christmas to me, bought a 200GB hard drive with 8MB cache and a better (read less noise) processor fan.
I've had this computer for a year and half and thought all along that it was the combination of fans that made it so noisy or the power supply fans. Lazy me never took the time to check it out.
Once I checked it out though it turns out that my cheapo processor fan was responsible for all the noise and thats a lot of noise too.
Of course the much more advanced fan, both regarding efficiency and noise, cost less than it's "cheapo" predecessor.
Why? Simple, one is bought in Iceland, the other is not.

I'm gonna put sound samples in here when I change the fans so you can hear the difference. Hey, maybe one or two of you even find that interesting!
