Two Wrongs Making It Right: 10/17/2004

Hey everybody
Well it looks like winter is on its way here in Paris, at least its getting cold (ooohh yes I know I´m from Iceland but that does not mean that I dont get cold) and last night we had thunder and lightning and it was raining like hell....and of course Daniel caught the flue, which is not big news since Daniel gets every disease that goes around, but the much worse part is that he finally succeeded in passing it on to me!! I hate being sick so that is why when I get sick as a true alcoholic I just pretend it aint happening so I go around cleaning like a maniac, go out walking and do whatever I can to prove to myself that I am NOT sick.....and you know what..sometimes it even works....but not this time.....and that SUCKS.
Oh yes when I get sick my spirituality just seem´s to disappear, I get selfish, selfcentered and do not understand why all the people that pretend to love me so much arent here to take care of ME, all I get is the dog who is equally selfish so he´s not taking care of me.......poor me......
Well now I just have to bitchslap me a couple of times, drag myself in front of the mirror and scream...Is this who you wanna be! and I´ll get over it and my spiritual tools will be handed back to me in a second......
