Dublin is cool. Literally.
The people here are really laid back and nice. You go to the store and they don't say good morning, good afternoon or good evening. No no, they say "Hi" or, more often, "How are ya?".
I like it and I like it a lot.

We went to a meeting the other day and, as I was just about to fall asleep over the endlessly boring selection of crap, this older guy speaks up and starts talking about the book and the program. Before I heard him I was seriously scared, thinking maybe all of it was like this here in Dublin but we went for coffee with him and another guy and learned that they have a good group of Big Book thumpers around here.
I'm gonna sign up so I can go with them to have meetings in the prisons in Dublin. I can't wait.
We're gonna go to a Big Book thumper meeting for the first time tonight, these meetings are saturdays and tuesdays but since yesterday was holiday over here the saturday meeting was off.

Whoooopeeee.

Smell you later
